About Germantown, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Germantown, TN is a small town a short 17 miles outside of Memphis. Germantown is convenient to the Memphis International Airport and downtown Memphis. With a population of approximately of 40,000, its beautiful seasonally changing weather and a short drive to the “big city”, this is an ideal place to live or visit. It is specifically wonderful for families and for commuters who prefer to live outside of the city but who work in Memphis’ downtown area.

The Germantown Performing Arts Center (or GPAC) is a place where the local tradition of great music, arts and theatre is continued and celebrated. Opened in 1994, this multidisciplinary performing arts complex kicked off with a bang with a performance by local legend Ray Charles and has been going strong ever since. Year-round, they hold classes and activities for children as well as performances and more. This is an ideal place to spend any day or evening but, in particular, it would be a wonderful way to pass a cold, snowy Tennessee evening. Consider it for a date night or family outing and you will undoubtedly have a great time.

Of course, no trip to the Memphis area (or discussion of local arts) would be complete without at least mentioning Graceland. This, as you likely know is the former home of Rock and Roll legend Elvis Presley. Every year, in August, on the anniversary of his death there is a procession through the estate and past Mr. Presley’s grave. The largest turn out for this event was in 2002, the 25th anniversary of his death when it is estimated that 40,000 people came to pay their respects. It was unseasonably rainy for August, which is typically hot and dry, that day but that did not deter music fans. This is a testament to the power of Rock and Roll and to the legacy of Elvis Presley in Memphis and all over the country.

If you are looking for outdoor activities in Bartlett then there is an extensive park system to consider. You are never far from a park in Germantown. Germantown has two dozen parks, sports complexes and other recreational facilities where you can spend a warm spring, hot summer or cool fall day. The goal of the parks department in the town is to make sure that there is a park within a half mile of every home. That makes Germantown an attractive place to live, work and raise a family. There’s no doubt about it.
